The "Digital Economy NRW" initiative aims to promote North Rhine-Westphalia as a digital location. The aim is primarily to promote start-ups, develop an investor scene and provide impetus for the digital transformation of companies. The hubs form a strong network and facilitate cross-regional contacts and dialogue. They are also supplemented by nationwide networks on key topics such as AI, cyber security, blockchain and medicine.
